Filing Electronically is permitted only by registered ECF attorneys or other individuals authorized to utilize the ECF System.

Passwords for ECF:

It is the ECF participant's responsibility to immediately notify the Court if your password has been compromised in any way so that it can be changed.

Notice of Proposed Local Rule Changes

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Wisconsin hereby gives notice of proposed permanent changes in its Local Rules, and invites comment thereon. The new Rules will go into effect on December 1, 2009. Please check our website for a summary of the proposed changes and a link to the proposed rules. Comments are due no later than November 2, 2009.

  • 9,382 pleadings electronically
  • 49% of all pleadings filed

New Petitions filed by Electronic Case Filers:
  • 92 % September 2009
  • 93 % year to date

Reminders

Case Upload and Auto Filing does NOT allow for installment payments. You must notify the Clerk's office if you electronically file a case with installment payments. Failure to do so may result in your ECF account being locked out of the system.
