Docketing a Responsive Pleading

HIGHLIGHTS

To ensure the fair, complete and timely administration of bankruptcy case hearings, it is important that all responsive pleadings are:

  • filed using the correct docket event
  • linked back to the proper pleading

Failure to do so may cause one of the following:

  • hearing date delay
  • delay in processing of proposed orders
  • improper deadline creation
