CM/ECF in the Courtroom
HIGHLIGHTS
As you prepare for hearings and trials in Madison Courtroom 350 or Eau Claire Courtroom 112, please be aware that the following technological tools are available for your use:
- Document cameras
- Just place your evidence under the camera and the image will be displayed in the courtroom.
- Personal computer plug-ins
- If you have a video or digital evidence on your laptop, you can plug into the court’s system to have your evidence displayed in the courtroom.
- Video conference capabilities
- Electronic court recording capabilities
- DVD or VCR equipment available - request in advance
- Annotation controls on monitors - in Madison only
- Allows you to mark on the presented image by touching the screen with your finger.
- Attorneys allowed to appear telephonically upon request
- Assisted listening devices - in Madison only
- Language interpreter headset - in Madison only
Training on equipment use is available by contacting the court prior to your hearing.
NOTE: If exhibits are filed electronically, please bring two sets with you at the time of your final hearing or trial (one for the court and one for the witness stand).
