Filing Amended Proofs of Claim
HIGHLIGHTS
We have some new features for filing an amended claim which will be available in our ECF upgrade to Version 3.2..
- Find the correct claim number - you will now be able to view previously filed claims in order to locate the correct claim number using the FIND button.
- Name change - you will now be able to change the name of the creditor on a claim you are amending (i.e., original claim filed by Wells Fargo, amended claim filed by AnchorBank). NOTE: A warning screen will appear to advise you that you are changing creditors on a previously filed claim.
- Clear the ECF screen - you will now have the ability to check a radio button to clear the ECF screen of all amounts so that you may put in the new claim amounts.
Updated Census Bureau Information
Visit the U.S. Trustee's website after September 8, 2008 for updated Census Bureau State Median Family Income figures. The proposed start date for these updates is for cases filed on or after October 1, 2008.
