Corrective Entry
- Is used to clarify that a docketing error was made
- Notifies all ECF users identified in that case
- Requires no browsing
- Creates a virtual entry with no PDF attachment
- Allows linkage (or reference) to docketed event that contains the error
- Can be found under Bankruptcy > Miscellaneous or Adversary > Miscellaneous
Based on the situation, follow-up requires either:
- That you correctly docket your event (e.g., wrong pdf filed, docketed in wrong case, etc.)
- Or the court will make the corrections for you (e.g., wrong county selected during case opening)
