A Message from the Judges

HIGHLIGHTS

We want to tell you how much we appreciate our electronic case filers. February 2012 marks our tenth year of electronic filing in the Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. We are not a mandatory electronic filing court, yet 95% of our new cases are being filed electronically. This is truly impressive when you realize that nearly all other courts are mandatory yet only hover around 85% of their documents being filed electronically. This shows the truly professional and cooperative manner in which all of you practice. We did not want this ten year anniversary to go by without recognizing everyone who makes electronic case filing work. Thank you for your continued commitment to making practice in this district the best in the country. And special thanks for working courteously and cooperatively with our exceptional court staff.

Chief Judge Thomas S. Utschig
Judge Robert D. Martin
