Informational Packet on Proposed Amendments to the Federal Rules effective December 1, 2016

On April 28, 2016, the Supreme Court adopted changes to the Federal Rules of Appellate, Civil, Criminal, and Bankruptcy Procedures which are scheduled to take effect on December 1, 2016. The Clerk's Office has compiled an informational packet that includes the Committee Notes for the Rules that are scheduled to be amended, along with the fee and form changes that are scheduled to take effect on December 1, 2016. Attorney's practicing in the Western District of Wisconsin are encouraged to review the packet and perform any further research needed prior to filing documents with the Court on or after December 1, 2016.
