Creditor Request for Notices

To File Electronically:

  1. Log into CM/ECF.

  2. Select [Bankruptcy > Miscellaneous]. Limited Use Participants will select [Bankruptcy > Creditor Claim Actions].

    Note: A batch entry is also available to docket several Requests for Notices at one time [Bankruptcy > Batch Filings > (enter case numbers) > Creditor Request for Notices (batch)].

  3. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).

  4. Select [Creditor Request for Notices] from the event list.

  5. Skip the Joint Filing screen/additional attorney(s) screen.

  6. Select the party filer.  If the party is not listed, click on Add/Create New Party.

    Note:  If you are an attorney, the Attorney/Party Association screen may appear. If your party selection was correct, check the box to create an association.

  7. Browse to select the Request for Notice (.pdf file).

  8. Check box "Add new creditors" to add creditor to mailing matrix. Creditor type is "Creditor"

  9. Modify the text as appropriate.

  10. Verify the final docket text; if correct, click [Next] to submit your document(s).

    Note: The Notice of Electronic Filing displays giving you the document number. Copies of this notice are immediately e-mailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case.

  11. Add party's name to mailing list:

    1. Select [Bankruptcy].

    2. Select [Creditor Maintenance].

    3. Select [Enter individual creditors].

    4. Enter the case number (e.g, xx-xxxxx).

    5. Enter party's name and address.

    6. Click Next; Click Submit.
