Archived Case Information

All cases originated in Madison and closed through 2009 have been shipped to the National Archives.

All cases originated in Eau Claire and closed through 2003 have been shipped to the National Archives.

In order to obtain information from these archived files, you will need the following case information:

  • Debtor(s) Name
  • Case Number
  • Case Closing Date

The Federal Records Center also requires the following information:

  • Accession Number (Transfer Number)
  • Box Number
  • Location Number

To obtain these numbers, select the location where the case originated:  Eau Claire or Madison.
