The Department of Justice has announced that funds are available to provide additional payments to eligible Chapter 7 trustees for Fiscal Year 2024 under the Bankruptcy Administration Improvement Act of 2020 (BAIA).

Eligible trustees may receive a $60 payment per case pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 330(e)(4).

To receive payment, trustees must file a claim for payment by submitting the ECF event: “Trustee Services Rendered Pursuant to § 330(e)”. This filing should be made in accordance with the Interim Regulations for Trustee Payments Under 11 U.S.C. § 330(e).
