The United States Postal Service is temporarily suspending international mail acceptance for certain countries due to inadequate transportation options or service disruptions within the country. Beginning March 9, 2026, the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) will not mail notices to recipient addresses that include the countries on that list. For a list of countries affected by the suspension please visit https://www.usps.com/international/ to view the latest USPS updates.

The Madison and Eau Claire courthouses will be closed on Monday, March 16, 2026, due to inclement weather. Clerk’s office staff will be available to assist remotely. CM/ECF will be available for electronic filing. All court proceedings scheduled for today will be rescheduled or continued.

The Chapter 13 Mortgage Modification Mediation Program was dissolved in November 2025 and is no longer active. The Court does not administer a formal mortgage modification mediation program, and no replacement program currently exists.
Parties who wish to pursue mediation in connection with a Chapter 13 case may file an appropriate motion or request on the case docket.
Questions regarding mediation requests may be directed to the Clerk’s Office.

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Wisconsin will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Washington’s Birthday. CM/ECF will be fully operational and will be accepting electronic filings from registered users. The court will resume normal operations on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
