Effective October 19, 2016, the U.S. Trustee will no longer hold chapter 7 meeting of creditors for Rock County in Janesville. After that, the meetings of creditors will held in Madison at the U.S. Trustee’s Office at 780 Regent Street, Suite 307, Madison, Wisconsin, 54880.

The Judicial Conference Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules has proposed amendments to Bankruptcy Rule 3015 and adoption of new Rule 3015.1 to modify its prior proposal for an official form for the plan of reorganization under chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy Code, and requested that the proposals be circulated to the bench, bar, and public for comment. The public comment period ends October 3, 2016.
