Please be advised that the recent Apple iOS 18.2 software update may affect the receipt of the Court's Notices of Electronic Filing. The software update modifies the native iOS Mail app and adds a new feature called categories. These categories were intended to assist users in prioritizing their email messages. Users have conveyed to some courts that emails sent via CM/ECF and GovDelivery were automatically categorized as "Updates" and thereby filtered out of their inboxes. This categorization could result in the unintentional overlooking of important case-related and other court notifications.
Users may want to modify their Mail app automatic categories or disable the categorization all together. For more information on the software update and to review the steps for modifying this new feature, please visit the Apple support website here.

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Wisconsin was made aware of a technical issue with the Chapter 13 Plan Form (3015-1.1, Revised 11/15/23). More specifically, sections IIIA and IIIB did not allow full cents to be entered in the amount fields. That functionality has been fixed, and the Chapter 13 Plan Form has been updated.
The new form is available on our website, and noted as 3015-1.2, Revised 12/4/24.
Effective January 1, 2025, all chapter 13 plans, including initial, amended, and modified, must conform to the updated chapter 13 plan form, pursuant to Local Rule 3015-1. Deficiency notices may be sent out in response to the use of the older form after February 1, 2025.

Bankruptcy Notices to Canada Suspended
The Administrative Office of the Courts has notified the Court that mail delivery has been suspended to Canada due to an ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Post Workers. Bankruptcy notice delivery has also been impacted. As of November 15, 2024, court issued notices to any recipients in Canada will not be delivered until the strike is over. Electronic bankruptcy noticing is not an option for international recipients; therefore, it should not be assumed that a Canadian recipient has received electronic notice.
Additional information and updates will be available on The Bankruptcy Noticing Center website.
